Thereby, the 4th experience route includes 15 heritage sites in Cao Bang City and Thach An and Quang Ha districts with the geological, cultural and historical appearance.
These are Geopark Information Centre, Comrade Hoang Dinh Giong memorial house, Song Hien ward fossil lake, Chu Trinh gabbro iron mine (in Cao Bang City); Ancient Ocean Underwater Volcano, Khau Khoang Pass, heritage-tree forest in Van Trinh Commune, traditional black jelly in Le Lai Commune, Van An organic agricultural farm, Dong Khe Relic Information Center, Relics of Dong Khe Fort, Bao Dong mountain peak, Ban Ne ancient ocean, Thuy Hung Commune (in Thach An District); Bo To cane sugar village, Truc Lam Ta Lung pagoda and Vietnam-China friendship point (in Quang Ha District).
The name “A time of fire flower” implies an experience route with many unique geological heritage values, undergoing intense geological fluctuations to form unique landscapes. “Fire flower” is reminiscent of the image of fiery red lava rising from the ground and flowing across the ocean floor… hundreds of millions of years ago.
The route was inspected by UNESCO Global Geopark Expert Group and Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark Management Board from 2021 – 2022. The team discovered many unique geological, geomorphological and landscape values reflecting the long-term evolution process with the complex geological fluctuations of the earth’s crust hundreds of millions of years ago, giving visitors an amazing experience.
Four experience tourist routes in Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark make an important contribution to environmental protection, rational use of natural resources, conservation and maximum promotion of landscape geological values, cultural values, indigenous knowledge with the goal of local sustainable tourism development.
At the announcement ceremony, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Cao Bang Province awarded the certificate to 7 units and enterprises providing tourism services in the area of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark.
