Quang Ninh has a rich cultural treasure with 600 tangible cultural heritages, including pagodas, temples, scenic spots, and natural wonders and 3,000 intangible cultural heritages, including the customs, folk games, and festivals of 20 ethnic groups.

With its advantages of natural beauty, traditions, history, and culture, Quang Ninh is striving to develop community tourism and indigenous culture, mostly in Binh Lieu, Ba Che, Tien Yen, Dam Ha, and Mong Cai city.

Binh Lieu district is home of the Tay, Dao, San Chi, and other ethnic minority groups. Their cultures are advantages for developing tourism.
