Speaking at the conference, Deputy Chief of Office of the Ha Noi Department of Tourism Mr. Bui Duc Thuan said that Ha Mo is a famous ancient land known to the ancient citadel of O Dien, once the capital of the Van Xuan state in the 6th century under the reign of Later Nam Emperor Ly Phat Tu.

On 8th December 2020, the Ha Noi People’s Committee issued a Decision recognizing Ha Mo tourist destination. In April 2023, Dan Phuong District People’s Committee issued Plan No. 127/KH-UBND on “Improving the quality of tourist destination of Ha Mo Commune in 2023”.
The conference to improve civilized tourism skills and community tourism for residents in 2023 in Ha Mo commune was held to propagate the benefits of tourism and guide service and communication skills for people, sellers, and service suppliers at tourist attractions in Ha Mo commune.
At the conference, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Hong Long, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) discussed civilized behavior skills, the benefits that tourism brings, and techniques service and communication skills; promote the value of historical and cultural relics to develop tourism; developing community tourism associated with building new rural areas.
