Recently, at the OCOP 4.0 market, a series of famous Tiktokers such as: Tho Agricultural Products, Thao Nguyen Farmer, Highland Medicinal Agricultural Products, Kieu Chinh Tra, Toan in Thai Nguyen, Northwest Agricultural Products, Binh Sam, An Sap Thai Nguyen and farmers participate in livestream sessions to promote and sell OCOP products. In just one morning, 32 livestream sessions were conducted, attracting 552,000 viewers, bringing in revenue of VND340 million.
Many localities across the country also follow this trend. Typically in Lam Dong, the province also invited content creators on the TikTok platform to help promote and spread information about the province’s OCOP products to consumers nationwide. The livestream sessions attracted more than 20 million views, with over 535,000 clicks to watch the live sessions.
In addition, recently, the Tiktok platform also has a team of localities specializing in training to help farmers livestream themselves to introduce and sell agricultural products.
According to the National Target Program to build new rural areas for the period 2021-2025, TikTok, as a strategic partner, has launched many new initiatives to promote rural trade. Through this channel, it aims to improve the livelihoods of 20,000 local farmers, people from craft villages and small businesses spread across 63 provinces and cities of Vietnam.
