The Department of Information and Communications of Ca Mau province has just issued a communication plan on the Ca Mau Shrimp Festival and connection Forum for OCOP products in the Mekong Delta in 2023 according to the content of Plan No. 170/KH-UBND dated July 17, 2023 of the Provincial People’s Committee.
The shrimp is a spearhead economic sector of Ca Mau province
Accordingly, relevant agencies and units, newspapers and radio agencies, the provincial electronic information portal, Departments of Culture and Information, Centers of Culture, Information and Sports of districts, Ca Mau city to promote propaganda about the stature and scale of the Ca Mau Shrimp Festival and the OCOP producst connection Forum in the Mekong Delta in 2023, which will be held with rich, diverse and attractive activities about form; reflects the typical values and quintessence of the life and culture of Ca Mau and the Southwest region. Introduce and promote the potential of the shrimp industry in Ca Mau province; advanced products, models, experiences and connections between shrimp producers, processors, consumers and exporters; promoting output and value in production and business, expanding consumption markets, bringing the best benefits to shrimp farmers and businesses. Expand cooperation between agencies, scientists, businesses and shrimp farmers. Thereby, in order to promote the application of science and technology for aquaculture production, contributing to improve the productivity, quality, business efficiency, improve shrimp industry competitiveness in the process of international economic integration.
Immediately, focus on propaganda and activities at the Festival such as the opening program of Ca Mau Shrimp Festival and OCOP products connection Forum in the Mekong Delta in 2023. Activities to organize exhibitions, exhibitions and trade in shrimp and OCOP products. Investment, trade and tourism promotion forums, conference “Connecting trade in OCOP products in the Mekong Delta in 2023”. The workshops: Building the value chain of Ca Mau shrimp industry, scientific and technological solutions for developing high-tech seafood, adapting to climate change.
Contests on creating identity sets (logos, funny symbols, Festival identity symbols) of Ca Mau shrimp brand and OCOP Ca Mau brand identity, packaging designs and stories of OCOP products, typical green OCOP products in the Mekong Delta in 2023 with many other cultural and artistic activities.
As planned, the Ca Mau Shrimp Festival and OCOP products connection Forum in the Mekong Delta in 2023 will be held from December 13 to 16, 2023, at the Central Square of Ca Mau province (ward 9, Ca Mau city).
