(TITC) – In order to promote the inherent potential and advantages, and at the same time create new and exciting experiences for tourists during the National holiday, Duy Xuyen district (Quang Nam province) is making efforts to build green destinations and unique and attractive green products.

Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam
province has a quite favourable geographical location, only about 30 km from Da
Nang city, near the airport, seaport and along the romantic Thu Bon river.
Furthermore, the district has the My Son – World Cultural Heritage and is
located close to the famous Hoi An ancient town. This place converges many
traditional handicraft villages such as pottery, porcelain, weaving, making
sedge mats, and growing mulberries and raising silkworms. In addition, the east
of the district is a vast river area with fishing villages and fisheries on the
river and sea, along with long stretches of fine sand beaches, which are
potential and advantages for coastal and marine tourism and ecotourism,
community tourism.
With a treasure trove of more than
50 long-standing historical and cultural relics, along with traditional
festivals imbued with national identity such as Lady Tam Tang, Lady Thu Bon,
the fishing festival in the river area, Duy Xuyen district offers visitors
unique and attractive experiences about the daily life and customs and
traditions of local people since ancient times.
Besides, Cua Dai bridge and Vo Chi
Cong route have been completed, opening up a new and potential opportunity for
Duy Hai sea area. At the same time, this area also has Tra Nhieu community
ecological village and lively villages with a variety of traditional craft
villages. Visitors coming here can enjoy a peaceful space, mingle with fresh
nature and experience peaceful village life.
In particular, Duy Xuyen district
will take the My Son World Cultural Heritage as the centre to attract
investment in tourism and service development, creating a widespread influence
and combining the development of traditional and spiritual craft village
tourism in areas of the district. In addition, for river areas, localities
prioritise the development of various types of community and village tourism
associated with services such as products and souvenirs from traditional craft
villages. With efforts in developing green tourism, Duy Xuyen is gradually
asserting its position on the national tourism map, striving to become an
attractive destination to attract tourists.
