Phan Dinh Phung, Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism assessed Nha Trang as Khanh Hoa Province’s tourism center with tremendous impacts on the provincial tourism industry. The city needs to develop a tourism development plan according to the orientation defined in the Resolution No. 09 by the Politburo on the construction and development of Khanh Hoa Province; strengthen State management over tourism; and have solutions to maintain Nha Trang tourism brand as a safe, civilized and friendly destination.
Besides marine tourism, the city needs to promote community tourism, countryside tourism as well as OCOP products to serve tourism. Especially, more tourism promotion is required to turn Nha Trang into one of the top travel destinations in the world.
