Leaders visit the booth at the Fair
Attending the ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Dao Quang Khai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and Head of the Fair Organizing Committee; Ms. Phan Thi Thang, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade; Mr. Nguyen Hanh Chung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; leaders of a number of departments, sectors, branches and localities.
Leaders cut the ribbon to open the Fair
Speaking at the opening of the Fair, Vice Chairman Dao Quang Khai emphasized that the Fair is an activity within the framework of the 2023 National Program on Trade Promotion. This program aims to promote trade connection activities and trade promotion of rural industrial products and OCOP products inside and outside the province. This is also an opportunity for businesses, cooperatives, production and business establishments in provinces and cities nationwide to introduce typical and key products to consumers, thereby, responding to the programs “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods”, “One commune, one product” (OCOP) and creating motivation to promote and expand export markets as well as improving competitiveness in the international economic integration.
Taking place from December 20 to December 26, 2023, the Fair features about 400 standard booths which are arranged into 03 zones including: the display area for typical rural industrial products; commercial products and typical OCOP products; as well as the exhibition area for wooden furniture, gems and ornamental creatures.
In addition, during the Fair, many other activities will be organized such as: cultural and artistic exchange program; investment promotion, introduction of new brand and technology; sign a cooperation agreement; promotions, gifts, advertising, product introduction; vote, reward, award to beautiful booths, excellent businesses…
