Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the District People’s Committee La Van Nam said Luc Ngan is in the harvest and consuming season of various fruits such as green-skinned grapefruit, sweet grapefruit, sweet orange, yellow flesh orange, guava, jujube. …, which are high quality and produced in line with VietGAP safety procedures and organic guidelines.
The harvest season will last until early next year. This season, the district expects to harvest more than 65,000 tonnes of fruits, including 22,000 tonnes of oranges, 21,000 tonnes of grapefruits and nearly 23,000 tonnes of jujube, guava, dragon fruits nearly 23 thousand tonnes…
The locality is committed to selecting and introducing units, organizations, businesses, cooperatives and gardeners with the best reputation and capacity to connect the supply of agricultural products with high quality to markets inside and outside the province.
Along with activities to promote agricultural product consumption, the district launched the tourism program “Luc Ngan autumn – winter” in 2023. The enterprises, cooperatives and gardeners have prepared all conditions to welcome tourists.
At the conference, the Organizing Committee announced the tourism map of Luc Ngan district, arranged booths to display typical products and tourism potential of the district. Also, the district launched a number of response events such as: Opening Hoa Qua Son eco-tourism site (Thanh Hai commune); launching the fall – winter tourism program, contest of harvesting and peeling grapefruits, bicycle experience tour as well as art show themed “Bau Tien – Ripe fruit festival” in Dong Dao Tourism Cooperative (Quy Son commune),
