Susan and her husband (from England) were taking an experience tour to the Tra Que vegetable village. They were very excited to learn about how to do organic farming. They also visited the driftwood village, where they marvelled at the beauty and uniqueness of the driftwood sculptures.
For them, making fine-art works of driftwood is really creative and significant for environmental protection and sustainable development.
Along with promoting heritage values, developing agritourism products associated with environmental protection and ecological landscape preservation is one of Hoi An’s concerns.
Experience tours, such as spending a day working as a farmer at Tra Que vegetable village or cycling through a paddy field, in combination with cooking tours, have become new and interesting experiences.
