Recently, Long Xuyen broken rice and neem salad have established Asian Records for culinary value in the period of 2022 – 2023, so the contest is an activity to contribute to promoting these two specialties of An Giang.
According to information from the Organizing Committee, at 8 a.m. on November 17, the teams will start preparing dishes. Regarding the prize structure, each dish has 5 prizes including one first prize, one second prize, one third prize, and 3 consolation prizes. Each award comes with a certificate and cash.
During the contest, the Trade and Investment Promotion Center will organize an exhibition space for images of An Giang tourism and specialties in the Hai Ba Trung walking street area to widely promote it to people and tourists come to visit.
The culinary contest of “An Giang’s unique flavors” is a playground for professional and non-professional chefs to have the opportunity to exchange, learn from experience, and improve their skills.
