The conference to announce decision approving project on developing a rural tourism model in Muong Va hamlet.
The project will support the building of infrastructure for tourism and the restoration of traditional ethnic craft trades; preserve, maintain and develop folk arts and culture; develop experiential tourism models; boost tourism human resources training and development; establish a management board of tourism cooperatives; and improve capacity and promote destinations.
Its goal by 2025 is to develop tourism products that are eligible to welcome tourists, such Muong Va tower spiritual tourism; ethnic cuisine houses in “Tong Na Coong Muong” rice field and “Nam Ca” stream; folk arts performances; stalls introducing products of Lao ethnic groups’ weaving and embroidery.
The project will develop experiential tours of Muong Va orange and tangerine orchards; and build two homestays to serve tourists.
