100+ booths display and introduce over 2,000 OCOP products in Ba Vi district

(TITC) – On 6th October, in Tay Dang town (Ba Vi district, Hanoi city), Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development coordinated with People’s Committee of Ba Vi district to organise Product introduction programme One Commune One Product Programme (OCOP) associated with the culture of provinces and cities in the Red River Delta.

The event is an opportunity to help OCOP entities in Hanoi and provinces and cities across the country to exchange, connect, promote brands, and trade. This is also one of Hanoi’s outstanding activities aimed to connect products to the distribution system, thereby continuously improving productivity, product quality, and OCOP subject capacity; This is also an opportunity for Hanoi consumers to identify, connect, and consume OCOP products.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Mr. Ta Van Tuong, Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, said the event has a scale of more than 100 booths displaying, introducing and promoting over 2,000 OCOP products, regional specialties of Hanoi and 9 provinces and cities in the Red River Delta region. There are also products from other localities, such as: Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Tuyen Quang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum, Ha Giang…

In the framework of the event, the Organising Board also organised typical cultural and artistic activities of provinces and cities in the Red River Delta region, singing Quan Ho Bac Ninh folk songs, To He making craft village, experiencing Quang Phu Cau incense stick craft village…

Additionally, there are also culinary cultural performances imbued with regional identities, such as: Enjoying tea, Thanh Tri steamed rice rolls, Uoc Le pork sausage, Phu Nhi Son Tay banh te, caramelised braised fish of Doai region (Ha Tay), Northwest Thang Co and other specialties representing the Red River Delta and other regions throughout the country…
