The events provide opportunities for businesses, scientists, and farmers to meet each other, talk about the techniques and methods to cultivate Ngoc Linh ginseng, and others.
Ngoc Linh ginseng is recognised as the best ginseng in the world. All its parts are useful and good for health. Its roots are soaked in wine or honey. Its leaves are used to make tea.
Ngoc Linh ginseng under the forest canopy
According to a programme on Vietnamese ginseng development until 2030, with a vision to 2045, approved by the Prime Minister, Vietnam will preserve natural genetic sources of Ngoc Linh ginseng associated with forest protection and biodiversity conservation in the forest ecosystem.
There will be 21,000 hectares of Ngoc Linh ginseng by 2030. 100 percent of the Ngoc Linh ginseng area will be provided with a regional code and geographical indications.
The products of and from Ngoc Linh ginseng will be under an international brand by 2045, and Vietnam will become a country with a large scale of ginseng production in the world.
Quang Nam has encouraged the application of technology in Ngoc Linh ginseng farming and processing.
At the same time, there are many activities to promote Ngoc Linh ginseng and products made of or from Ngoc Linh ginseng, plant ginsengs, and protect forests and the environment.
