The technical competition for tea processing by the Team representing the traditional tea craft village of Ao Cong hamlet in Phu Do commune
15 teams from 15 representative tea craft villages in Phu Luong District participated in the Contest. Each team consisted of 3 to 5 members, including artisans and experienced individuals in green tea production. Within 150 minutes, showcasing finesse and precision, the teams demonstrated tea processing techniques, including the art of tea roasting and tea-making. Simultaneously, they presented about their craft village, the technical process of tea roasting, packaging standards, and the packaging presentation of the products.

The contest is organized to show talent, directly honor tea artisans and vividly describe the arduous labor process of tea producers and processors to transform it into a refined product. It served to introduce, promote, and honor tea plants, tea products, and tea producers in Phu Luong District specifically, and in Thai Nguyen Province generally, to both local and visiting tourists. Simultaneously, it provided an opportunity for networking and exchanging experiences regarding tea production and tea product among farmers, craft villages, and businesses involved in tea cultivation, processing, and consumption within and outside the province.
The Organizing Committee awarded the Third Prize to the teams
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 Second Prizes to the Teams of Lien Hong 8 Tea and Dried Litchi – Longan Cultivation and Processing Craft Village, Vo Tranh Commune; Tea craft village in Tan Khe hamlet, Tuc Tranh commune. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 3 Third Prizes and 09 Consolation Prizes to the remaining teams. The First Prize was awarded to the team from Phu Do tea craft village, Phu Nam 3 hamlet, Phu Do commune. This First Prize will be officially presented by the Organizing Committee at Phu Luong District Tea Craft Village Honoring Festival for the third time in 2023, scheduled for the evening of November 24 at the Center for Culture, Sports and Trade of Tuc Tranh commune.
