This year, the Dai Tu district (Thai Nguyen province) has 19 products registered to participate in OCOP evaluation and classification. Among them, one product participating in the upgrade from 4 to 5 stars is Thanh Hai tea of La Bang Tea Cooperative. The 4 products re-recognized as OCOP 4 stars are: Hou Shou mushroom, red ganoderma, dried wood ear of Phu Gia Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Thuc Dinh tea of Nhat Thuc Tea Cooperative.

The remaining 14 products registered for evaluation and 3-star OCOP rating, mainly tea products. After listening to the subjects’ introductions and presentations about the products, the OCOP product evaluation and classification council evaluated each subject’s product in an objective and accurate way according to the set of OCOP product evaluation and classification criteria.
From the evaluation results, for products that are eligible for 4-star recognition and upgrade from 4 to 5 stars, the council will send the results to the province for evaluation and upgrade. As for products achieving 50-69 points, the council will advise the District People’s Committee to decide to recognize 3-star OCOP products.
