Hai Phong City has recognized a total of 171 city-level OCOP products, 114 of which are 3-star, 57 are 4-star, and 5 are 5-star products proposed for central recognition. After being recognized, these units have had more favorable conditions to develop production and business activities, promoting the growth of the collective economic sector.
At Vinh Tien Agricultural Cooperative, besides developing vegetables, the cooperative is focusing a lot of investment resources on aquaculture. From the early days full of difficulties up to now, each year, the cooperative provides the market with about 20 tons of fish and 6 tons of shrimp. Currently, this cooperative is promoting to build the OCOP brand for its fish and shrimp products with the hope of opening up new directions in production, creating stable output for the product.
According to the plan, the program one commune, one product, OCOP, Hai Phong City in the period 2021-2025, vision to 2030, has been implemented in 217 communes, wards, and townships belonging to eight rural districts and seven urban districts in the city.
In light of the central and municipal plans and goals, Hai Phong Cooperative Alliance continues to promote solutions, strengthen propaganda, and raise awareness for cooperative groups and cooperatives in the development and production of OCOP products, support training and the transferring of scientific and technical advances and capital, contributing to bringing typical products of each locality close to domestic consumers and meeting export standards.
