To acquaint and endorse regional delicacies with visitors, particularly those en route to partake in the “Forbidden Mountain Running Tournament 2023,” which is scheduled to transpire on November 12, 2023.
A programme promoting OCOP products, OCOP potential products, and the specialties of An Giang province was organised on November 11 at the Cam Mountain tourist area in Tinh Bien town by the An Giang Trade and Investment Promotion Centre.

The event was conducted at the Thuy Liem Lake Center-Cam Mountain Tourist Area, and nearly twenty enterprises from the province of An Giang participated. Tourists are introduced to a variety of exceptional OCOP products, start-up products, and An Giang specialties, including but not limited to: honeysuckle tea, Ganoderma mushrooms, pickled bamboo shoots from Cam Mountain, red artichoke syrup, butterfly pea flower tea, bird’s nest, dried snakehead fish, honey, shrimp salt, rice, and handicrafts from Thot Not Tree.

The An Giang Trade and Investment Promotion Center, in collaboration with the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Provincial New Rural Construction Coordination Office, the Department of Health, and the Town People’s Committee Tinh Bien, organized an event in Tinh Bien Town over two days (November 11 and 12) to introduce and promote OCOP products, potential products that target OCOP products, and startup products. Participants in the program included representatives from the Coordination Office for New Rural Construction of An Giang Province, Ms. Nguyen Tam Tuyet Trinh, the Deputy Director of An Giang Province Trade and Investment Promotion Center, Mr. Lam Van Ba, Vice Chairman of Tinh Bien Town People’s Committee, Mr. Dinh Van Chac, and the Director of the Management Board of Cam Mountain Tourist Area, along with businesses participating in the program.
Tourists and locals are exposed to and encouraged to purchase a variety of OCOP and startup products, as well as specialties.
Thus, introducing and promoting OCOP products, potential products that target OCOP products, and startup products in order to identify and promote brands and products to consumers. Simultaneously, this presents an opportunity to gather feedback, progressively enhance product quality and packaging design in accordance with market demands, optimize the enterprise’s operational efficiency, and establish a venue for shopping and sightseeing exchanges to support economic and tourism growth.
