After 4 years of implementing the “One Commune One Product” Program – OCOP, with the goal of improving the value of agricultural production and developing agriculture in a sustainable direction, recently, Cooperatives (Cooperatives), Enterprises in the province have constantly perfected production processes, improved quality, innovated designs, models, labels, etc. Thanks to that, the province’s agricultural products are increasingly attractive and suitable for the market, affirming value and quality in the market.
To date, the whole province has 192 OCOP products evaluated, ranked from 3 to 4 stars.
Notably, these OCOP products are not only sold at the market but have also entered shopping centers, supermarkets, and e-commerce platforms, such as Ham Yen oranges, Tuyen Quang honey, Shan Tuyet tea, Tan Thai tea, etc.
At the 2023 OCOP fair of Tuyen Quang province, every day it attracted thousands of customers inside and outside the province to visit and shop at the fair. On this occasion, businesses and cooperatives sought and signed cooperation on product consumption. ACTONE trade promotion alliance signed product consumption contracts with Son Tra Cooperative (Na Hang), Binh Minh Organic Agricultural Product Cooperative, Thao Huong Tuyen Quang Co., Ltd. and Tien Anh Trading Production Co., Ltd. , An Giang province signed a contract to support product consumption between the two provinces.
According to Mr. Loc Kim Lien, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Tuyen Quang is a land with many typical and specialty products associated with the traditional culture of ethnic minorities. Currently, buying OCOP products has gradually become a daily consumption habit of many people. In particular, the province’s outstanding OCOP products such as Ham Yen oranges, Shan Tuyet tea, Khau Mut tea, and Tuyen Quang honey are very popular with consumers, bringing benefits to both producers and consumers.
