Located in the Muong Ang Town’s centre market, the project has a total investment of VNĐ1.5 billion from the capital of the national target programme to build new rural areas in the 2021-25 period.

The launch of OCOP centre is aimed at promoting and selling quality products and signature and local specialties; enhancing the internal strength of production and business entablishments; improving the value of agricultural products; generating stable income for people; and promoting socio-economic development in the locality. At the same time, it is a reputable place to serve people and tourists to Mường Ảng District with quality guaranteed products.

Up to now, the Muong Ang District has had 10 OCOP products including two products rated ‘4 stars’ (Ha Chung filter coffee and Phan Nhat organic green tea) and eight products rated ‘3 stars’.
