Ben Tre Province forms a tourism value chain associated with the agricultural industry

The provincial tourism industry has support tourism destinations connecting with travel companies by organizing many famtrips and presstrips to promote tourism routes in combination with agriculture in the province; organizing for households doing agricultural tourism, community tourism to visit and learn from successful tourism models inside and outside the province.

Destinations for visitors to experience agricultural tourism include melon garden and high-tech agricultural products in Phu An Khang; “Hai Van Farm – Vam Ho Bird Sanctuary”; visit, experience and harvest clean agricultural products at Ben Tre Riverside Garden, Forever Green Resort; visit orchards and ornamental flowers in Cho Lach; The Forest Keeper’s farm in Binh Dai district …

The type of homestay tourism has also developed quite rapidly in the past time. The province currently has 41 homestays concentrated in Chau Thanh, Cho Lach, Giong Trom districts and Ben Tre City, a capacity of over 1,000 guests.

The province is also forming five tourist routes associated with community tourism destinations and agricultural products. That is the ecotourism route of the Coconut Floating Market – Thom River; ecotourism route in 3 communes south of Ben Tre City; ecological route in 8 communes along Tien river, Chau Thanh district (Mekong Tour); cultural and historical tourism route and ecology of 3 districts (Mo Cay Bac – Mo Cay Nam – Thanh Phu); the cultural and historical tourism route of Giong Trom – Ba Tri – Binh Dai.
