Hai Phong city: Live Streaming Session To Promote Purchasing OCOP Products

 On October 14th morning, Hai Phong City’s Youth Union hosted the live streaming session “Haiphong OCOP Fair” to introduce, advertise, and promote online purchasing via TikTok, aiming to boost the digital marketplace and support OCOP products, as well as develop the city’s economy.

 

The activity is a specific part of Resolution No. 03 issued by the Standing Board of Hai Phong City’s Party Committee on “the digitization in Hai Phong City until 2025 with an orientation to 2030,” which helps raise awareness and actions of the cadre in the Youth Union and the People’s Committee of the city on digital transformation, contributing to the socio-economic establishment and development of the city.

The session featured well-known content creators as well as over 20 specialties from Hai Phong City, intending to promote and shape recognisability further, enhance the consumption of the city’s OCOP products, develop digital marketplaces, and encourage locals (especially young people) to purchase Hai Phong OCOP products online. The live-streaming session on TikTok amassed 20,600,000 interactions from 578,000 viewers in four hours, proving the local OCOP products’ attraction and making a revenue of VND 750 million.

The TikTok campaign aims to improve the lives of 20 thousand local farmers and inhabitants in artisanal villages across the 63 Vietnamese provinces and cities, simultaneously preserving the local traditions and cultures and promoting provincial tourism./.
