A technical workshop has just taken place in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province to discuss green tourism certificates for tourism businesses in Quang Nam.

The event was organised by the Swiss Tourism for Sustainable Development Project (ST4SD), with the participation of leaders of the Quang Nam province’s Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the Quang Nam Tourism Association, and tourism experts and businesses.
At the workshop, the delegates shared a lot about how to make green certificates simple, effective, and beneficial for businesses.
Until now, 20 businesses in Quang Nam province have received the certificate of green tourism from the provincial People’s Committee.
Discussing green tourism certificates
Through the ST4SD, Quang Nam has been supported to promote sustainable tourism development policies and training courses on sustainable tourism, building sustainable and environmentally-friendly green tourism models, improving the capacity and skills of human resources in tourism, and raising public awareness of protecting the environment and preserving local culture.
