Recently, the People’s Council of Khanh Son district issued a Resolution approving the Khanh Son district tourism development project until 2030. The project sets a goal that by 2030, the district will have 570 accommodation rooms and complete 3 – 5 tourist attractions. new ecology, supporting people to build homestays; welcoming 45,000 visitors/year, including 6% international visitors; revenue reached 88 billion dong. Total investment capital for the project is more than 254 billion VND, of which budget capital is 8.3 billion VND, capital mobilized from other sources is 246 billion VND… According to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dong – Vice Chairman of the District People’s Committee, since 2016, Khanh Son has developed and implemented a district tourism development program for the period 2016 – 2020, with a vision to 2030. After more than 6 years of implementation, the program has brought initial results. Images of nature, people, and some tourist attractions in Khanh Son have been known to tourists. In particular, Khanh Son Fruit Festival has become an event of interest to many tourists inside and outside the province. To fundamentally develop tourism, the district has developed a tourism development project until 2030.
Khanh Vinh district is also considered to have a lot of potential for developing eco-tourism in the mountains and forests. In addition to the Yang Bay tourist area familiar to tourists, recently, a number of new models of eco-tourism combined with local culinary experiences have appeared in the district, such as: Khanh Thanh Hot Springs; Zi-on waterfall eco-tourism area (Khanh Trung commune); Giang Ly tourist area; Suoi Mau – Thac Bau tourist destination (Khanh Thuong commune)… However, up to now, the district’s tourism development has not been methodical, the work of calling for tourism investment still faces many difficulties, and the work of promoting Tourism advertising is still weak. To develop tourism, the district is building a tourism development project associated with preserving the cultural identity of ethnic minorities in the period 2021 – 2025, with an orientation to 2030.
