Training on agricultural tourism associated with OCOP and traditional craft villages

The training class had the participation of 40 traineers from agencies and units related to the field of agricultural tourism, agricultural and tourism cooperatives associated with OCOP and traditional craft villages, and households with fruit gardens, high-tech agricultural models, tourist attractions…

During 4 days (30th October 30 – 2nd November), traineers were introduced to the set of criteria for evaluating and classifying OCOP products; types of OCOP tourism products and product stories; Guide the development of rural tourism associated with promoting the potential and advantages of agriculture, craft villages, culture and ecological environment of localities and build tourism models according to prescribed criteria…

Through the training class, traineers added the basic knowledge and skills on developing community tourism associated with OCOP products and traditional craft villages; contributing to preserving cultural identity, creating livelihoods…, helping people improve their income and quality of life.

Currently, Dak Lak has recognized more than 143 OCOP products 3 – 4 stars. Kuop village (Dray Sap commune, Krong Ana district) is being supported to become the first community tourism village associated with OCOP in the province related to the pilot model “Developing OCOP products for community tourism associated with promoting cultural values”.
