The delegation departs from Sung hamlet in Cao Son commune, and reaches Da Bia peak after a 9km trek
They visited some homestays at community-based tourist sites in Sung hamlet, Cao Son commune, and Duc Phong hamlet in Tien Phong commune, and experienced services like exploring Sung cave, climbing Da Bia peak, kayaking, and boat rides on Hoa Binh Lake.
The associations and travel firms highly valued Da Bac’s tourism potential and its efforts in developing standardised community-based tourist sites, and gave advice to the locality to ensure tourism sustainability.
The programme aims to promote tourism in ethnic minority-inhabited and mountainous areas in Da Bac. Following the field trip, the travel firms said they want to bring both domestic and foreign holidaymakers to Da Bac and Hoa Binh in general.
