At the 2024 Regional Agricultural and Specialty Products Fair held at the Economic and Trade Exhibition Center (Hanoi) from August 15 to 18, Thai Nguyen Province is showcasing over 100 typical agricultural products.

Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the province has directed and collaborated with local authorities to select representative agricultural products from the province, including OCOP products such as tea, various fruits, and some specialty dishes, to be displayed at two booths. These booths have attracted numerous delegates and visitors for sightseeing and shopping.
The Fair has a scale of over 70 booths from units, cooperatives, businesses, and farmers’ associations from provinces and cities including: Thai Nguyen, Ha Giang, Lang Son, Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Ha Nam, Quang Ninh, Nghe An, Phu Yen, Binh Thuan, Can Tho, Ca Mau…

The program, organized by the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) in collaboration with relevant units, consists of two main activities: the Regional Agricultural and Specialty Products Fair and the 2024 Lang Son Province Custard Apple and Specialty Products Promotion Week. This event is part of a series of programs supporting local authorities, businesses, cooperatives, and agricultural production facilities in business development and market expansion, focusing more on the domestic market with the motto “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods” and “Vietnamese goods win over Vietnamese consumers”. Additionally, it aims to promote and honor brands, celebrate clean and safe agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products, as well as create a bridge between cooperatives, businesses, and consumers, and between production and consumption.

During 3 days of the event, various activities will be organized, including: mini-games, Latte art demonstrations; sharing the journey to Vietnamese specialty coffee; Cupping and auctioning of some specialty lots from the VIETNAM AMAZING CUP 2024 Contest; coffee tasting activities for visitors; livestreaming sales of agricultural products, specialties, and OCOP products on TikTok and other social media platforms…
