(TITC) – On 6th September, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Organising Board of Cam Mountain Running Tournament organised a press conference to announce the “Cam Mountain Trail 2023”, will officially take place on 12th November 2023 at Cam Mountain Tourist Area, An Hao commune, Tinh Bien town, An Giang province.

“Cam Mountain Trail 2023” is the first large-scale terrain running tournament professionally organised in the Mekong Delta region.
The Run aims to introduce to domestic and international friends about Cam Mountain Tourist Area, thereby continuing to exploit and promote tourism potential and advantages, contributing to promoting the development of the local tourism industry. At the same time, this is also a completely new highlight, to create a playground to promote the training and competition movement of terrain running in An Giang province in particular and neighbouring provinces and cities in general, create opportunities to learn, exchange and exercise, promote the spirit of physical training and sports, and connect and exchange local and international cultures.

It is expected that the event will
attract over 1,000 athletes from all provinces and cities to compete in 4
distances: 5km, 15km, 21km and 42km. The event will officially take place on
12th November 2023 at Cam Mountain Tourist Area, Tinh Bien town, An Giang
province. Competing distances run through winding mountain roads, vast,
pristine forests and many tourist attractions around the Cam Mountain area –
one of the famous spiritual tourist destinations not only in An Giang but in
the entire Mekong Delta region. Specific itinerary: starting from Lam Vien Cam
Mountain tourist area – road to Van Linh pagoda, road to Small Buddha pagoda –
Thanh Long stream – Cam Mountain ecological road – Mango garden – road to Van
Linh pagoda – Lam Vien Cam Mountain tourist area (to the finish line).
An Giang is
a province in the Southwest region, part of the Long Xuyen quadrangle, in the
Mekong Delta. The province owns attractive tourist destinations such as: Tra Su
Melaleuca forest, Tan Chau Silk Village and especially Cam Mountain – one of
the famous spiritual, ecological and leisure tourist destinations. Visitors
