The product “Premium Loc Tea” of Viet Thai Tea Joint Stock Company in Phuc Thuan commune (Pho Yen city) is recognized as 4-star OCOP product
For Pho Yen City, according to the OCOP product assessment and ranking cycle, the city organizes an evaluation council; transfer dossiers and samples of products with 3 stars or more (50-100 points) to the provincial level for evaluation and ranking. Results from 2021 to 2022 show that out of the 15 OCOP products in Pho Yen City, 7 of them achieved 3 stars or more (2 products with 4 stars and 5 products with 3 stars). The goal for 2023 is to achieve at least 3 OCOP products with 3 stars or more, reaching 10 out of 15 products, which equals 67% of the set project target.
Specifically, in 2021, Pho Yen City has 3-star products: “Pho Yen specialty rice PY RICE VNR 20” of Pho Yen Agricultural Materials Branch, honey product “Longan flower essence” – Dong Tam Dao honey bee cooperative group; high quality rice product ADI 28 – Cooperative Group. The 4-star product is “Premium Loc Tea” of Viet Thai Tea Joint Stock Company.
In 2022, Pho Yen City organized the assessment and ranking of 2 products from 2 entities. After the assessment, the profiles and sample products of the 2 products that achieved 3 stars or more (50-100 points) were submitted for provincial-level evaluation and ranking. The results were presented in a provincial evaluation council meeting, which assessed and ranked the products. Subsequently, the Provincial People’s Committee issued a Decision on recognizing the achievements of 2 products with 3 stars as “Cong Tam Tea” product – Cong Tam Minh Duc Tea Cooperative and “Tam Tea” product of Viet Thai Tea Joint Stock Company”.
