In recent years, the Farmers’ Associations at all levels in Bac Giang province have accompanied to support farmers to develop OCOP products, thereby helping the entities to establish farm produce trademarks, expand market and increase income.
Last month, Tan Hoa village in Quang Binh province was named Best Tourism Village 2023 by the UN World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO). The award is attributable to a joint effort by local people and authorities and travel agents to turn Tan Hoa, a seasonal flood zone, into a bright spot of Vietnamese tourism.
Within the framework of the event: “OCOP products and specialties of An Giang province accompanying consumers” for the second time in 2023, the Trade and Investment Promotion Center will organize the culinary contest of “An Giang’s Unique flavors”.
Dong Son village, Chan Son commune, is about 10 km from Yen Son town, Tuyen Quang city. The village has about 140 households, mainly Cao Lan ethnic people living together at the foot of La mountain. Surrounding that small village is the cool green water flowing around Ngoi La 1 and Ngoi La 2 lakes.
Since 2016, a few households in Nang Kha commune (Na Hang – Tuyen Quang) have boldly renovated to upgrade stilt houses to become modern.
From a type of native bamboo that grows naturally in the forest, Dao boy Trieu Van Thang in Ban Tat village, Tri Phu commune (Chiem Hoa – Tuyen Quang) has successfully built a brand, raising the value of native bamboo trees in Tri Phu commune in general and Ban Tat village in particular.
The 2023 festival to explore Thac Ba Lake National Scenic Spot and enjoy Dai Minh grapefruit will be held from November 10-17 with various activities.
Up to now, An Giang has 92 products certified with 3-star rating or higher under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program, including 2 products with 5-star rating, 3 potential 5-star products, 15 products with 4-star rating, and 72 products with 3-star rating. The province is actively promoting, linking, and expanding the market for its OCOP products.
Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa not only attracts visitors by the poetic islands or stretches of sand embracing the blue sea, but also is impressed with the shimmering waterfalls among the vast green of the mountains and forests. Yang Bay is such a green destination.
To reach sustainable tourism development, running towards green tourism is indispensable. Thua Thien Hue has special strengths of cultural, historical, and landscape, as well as environmental resources to develop tourism; and, carrying out cooperation to develop green tourism is one of the goals.
